The Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art is a facility and located in the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, a prefectural cultural facility, specialized in artists residencies with a residential studios and museums for ceramics. Since its inauguration in 1992, 860 artists of more than 48 countries visited Shigaraki in Shiga prefecture, Japan.

This exhibition is focusing on artists who were active there in the past 20 years in the artist-in-residence facility and introduce the results of their efforts.
