“Private View”, featuring works by Ivan Grubanov, Anton Henning, Leiko Ikemura, Callum Innes, York der Knoefel, Kjell Erik Killi Olsen and Takehito Koganezawa, is the first group show at the Loock Galerie.

The exhibition title is a reference to an imaginary collection or the back room of a gallery. It is my personal selection of paintings and drawings that aims to contrast the gray Berlin winter and creates an exciting dialogue of abstraction.

In the 2nd room we are showing two paintings by Knoefel, who suddenly passed away before Christmas. In 1998 Knoefel entitled an exhibition at the Wohnmaschine with “Hommage to Painting”. This room is a hommage to Knoefel. I would like to thank the Kuttner Siebert Gallery for the support of this project.
